Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve had the privilege of documenting over 300 weddings since I started in 2008.
Yes, of course! I’ve been all over India, and would love to travel for weddings.
Because of my constant need to provide the highest quality work (while also maintaining a work-life balance), I limit the number of events I take each year to 15-20 weddings.
I know that planning a wedding can be time-consuming and stressful. Not to worry, my process is simple & relaxed. I don’t need much from you to do what I do. After you book your date, I’ll send you some information that will help you plan your day from a photography standpoint (including tips that will help you avoid some of the common mistakes made when it comes to planning your day for photos). Once you have a preliminary timeline, I’ll be able to review and make sure I have the time I need to do what I do. That’s it! And I’m always just a phone call, text, or email away if you ever have any questions.
I’ve always wanted my couples to book me for the way I portray their connection and intimacy. That’s why I share that the most. I will, of course, capture the day’s details, decor, events, candid moments, family pictures, and everything else. But again, I want my couples to book me for how I capture their connection, not how beautiful I can make their silverware look (which I can definitely do).
While I do love using natural light and shadows in many of my images to create mood, drama, and a feeling of intimacy, I fully understand that one specific style isn’t the best choice for an entire day. So, I’ll capture your wedding day with a good mix of both dramatic portraits and clean photography, to create an accurate representation of your day.
I never limit the amount of images I will capture in any of my weddings, elopements, or connection sessions. I carry 600GB of memory cards, the images are backed up on multiple hard drives, and then I carefully choose and select the final collection that you will receive. I’ll remove duplicates, unflattering images, and then deliver between 250 images for every hour of coverage. For my connection sessions, I deliver between 50-250 images. All of the photographs that you will receive are delivered in full resolution and have been fully edited(PROCESSED) . I am a big believer in quality over quantity, and I will never put “fillers” in your final gallery.
I believe every wedding, be it grand or intimate, is magical. As a team of passionate filmmakers who yearn for great stories, my team and I would be happy to be a part of your big day, no matter what kind of a wedding it is!
A 5-minute cinematic trailer and a 25-30 minute cinematic highlight film are our main deliverables. Along with that, we give separate full videos for performances/interviews, etc. Albums are provided upon request.
We usually deliver photos within 10-20 business days. We offer a Sneak Peek add-on for clients who would like a small curated set of edited photos 2 days after the last event for Social Media.
Editing a film is a creative process, and we take it very seriously. Each film goes through a series of iterations till we reach a point where we can proudly say “this is our best work till date”. It usually takes us 3 months to deliver your complete film based on our work schedule.
The size of the team is decided based on individual requirements. A team of three is good enough to capture a wedding in its entirety, but we can also get a team of 10 if needed.
Since we take up very limited weddings each year, we are usually booked 4-10 months in advance. So, it’s never too early to enquire!
We take 50% of the total booking amount at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due on the first day of coverage.
When I block a shoot date for you, usually I’m blocking out the entire day in my calendar to keep it flexible for any last-minute changes or delays. Pricing takes factors such as shoot time, prepping time before/after shoots, travel time, as well as hours spent editing.
You can choose to add the Raw Photo gallery in your package. This includes unedited versions of everything that was shot for you, which I prefer to deliver on a hard drive.
